Itinerary
Day 1 – Milwaukee, WI – Dinner at Dave & Buster’s
Today, travel to Milwaukee, WI where you will enjoy a three-night stay. Tonight, enjoy dinner and gaming at Dave & Buster’s. (D)
Day 2 – Milwaukee Public Museum w/Program – 3rd Street Market Hall – Frank Lloyd Wright Burnum Block – Koz’s Mini Bowl
This morning, visit the Milwaukee Public Museum, Wisconsin’s most visited museum. Explore three floors of captivating exhibits that transport your students to different times, places, and even outer space. As a natural history museum, MPM provides an immersive experience that allows you to explore the wonders of the natural world, the diverse cultures that inhabit our planet, and the histories that have shaped our modern lives. Step into the tropical Vivarium, home to nearly 1,000 live butterflies, or journey through the Ice Age to search for a saber-toothed cat among glaciers. You can also get up close with dinosaurs and explore ancient civilizations, including a face-to-face encounter with King Tut on his chariot.
Your visit to the Milwaukee Public Museum will also include an Educational Program focusing on STEM and hands-on experiences. (The Milwaukee Public Museum will open a new location in 2027 and become the Nature & Culture Museum of Wisconsin.)
Next, visit the 3rd Street Market Hall for an included lunch today from one of the vendors. Not only does the 3rd Street Market Hall have delicious food, but there are also games and activities like the gaming lounge, shuffleboard, and backyard games to enjoy.
This afternoon, visit Frank Lloyd Wrights’ Burnum Block and explore Frank Lloyd Wright’s vision for an American home in this rare collection of Wright designed American System-Built Homes. The Burnham Block features six homes designed by the renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright, embodying his vision of creating high-quality, affordable housing for all. Built in 1916, the homes are a revolutionary approach to home building. They are filled with light and connected to the outdoors. These homes challenge us to rethink how we build and live.
End the day with dinner at a local restaurant followed by an evening at Koz’s Mini Bowl, Milwaukee’s favorite for mini-bowling, fun, and atmosphere. There are 4 mini bowling lanes with human pinsetters. The balls fit in the palm of your hand and weigh 2-3 lbs. (B,L,D)
Day 3 – Harley Davidson Museum – Bobblehead Hall of Fame w/Scavenger Hunt – The Riverwalk – Discovery World w/Program – Dinner Cruise, Baseball Game or Evening Theatre
Start the day with a visit to the Harley Davidson Museum. See why the Museum is one of Milwaukee’s top tourist destinations and view a more than 100-year history of Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
Next, visit the Bobblehead Hall of Fame, the world’s only museum dedicated entirely to Bobbleheads. With an impressive collection of over 10,000 bobbleheads, the museum showcases a wide range of figures, from sports stars to iconic characters from movies, TV shows, pop culture, politics, and beyond. Whether you’re a sports enthusiast or a pop-culture aficionado, there’s something to delight everyone. Students can participate in a fun scavenger hunt through the museum.
Then enjoy a visit to the Milwaukee RiverWalk where you will see the iconic Bronze Fonz statue, a beloved Milwaukee landmark celebrating the classic American TV show Happy Days. As you walk along the river, you’ll find pops of color at the many public art installations and picturesque bridges that are primed and ready for a photo op. You will also have lunch at a restaurant located on The RiverWalk.
The afternoon features a visit to Discovery World. This interactive science and technology museum sits beautifully on Lake Michigan’s shore, where kids can explore hands-on exhibits about Great Lakes ecology, walk through the aquarium tunnel, and get creative in the innovation stations. Also included with your visit is an Educational Program.
End the day with a Dinner Cruise. Step aboard for an unforgettable evening on the water! Enjoy a delicious three-course meal as you cruise along the scenic Milwaukee River.
