Itinerary

Day 1 – Orlando, FL – Hard Rock Cafe Dinner

Arrive today in Orlando, FL, where you check into your hotel for a four-night stay.  Dinner is included this evening at the Hard Rock Café. Located at Universal Studios Orlando in the CityWalk entertainment complex, Hard Rock Cafe Orlando is the biggest HRC in the world. With large, statuesque pillars, it stands majestically as a Roman Coliseum of rock and boasts more pieces of music memorabilia than any other location. (D)

Day 2 – Universal Studios Park-to-Park Pass – Performance Option

Today, you will have a full day to explore Universal Studios with a Park-to-Park Pass.  You will have four parks to choose from Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe, and Volcano Bay.  With four theme parks and CityWalk, you’ll enjoy endless fun and adventure. Between thrilling rides, restaurants, and shops, there truly is something for everyone.

At Universal Studios, you can see your favorite TV shows and movies come to life. Say “Bello!” to the Minions before you head over to Springfield with the Simpsons™. Prepare for the thrill of twists, turns, drops…and a fire-breathing dragon. Oh, and did we mention the whole “Save Earth from Aliens” thing?

Islands of Adventure tests your imagination.  Take a flying motorbike ride with Hagrid™. Help Spider-Man defeat the Green Goblin. After you venture through the imaginative mind of Dr. Seuss or find your way out of the Lost Continent (if you can). Whatever you do, beware the hungry Velociraptors.

At Epic Universe, walk through the portals and step into five worlds beyond belief at Universal Epic Universe — the theme park where your favorite characters, most cherished stories and wildest dreams become real. Epic Universe features The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Finally, Volcano Bay embrace your inner Waturi and brave a visit to Krakatau, the 200-foot volcano, where you’ll face the ancient fiery spirit, Vol. Thrill-seekers, brace yourself for gravity-defying plunges and the fastest water slides you’ve ever seen.

Included with your visit today there will be a meal card good for the purchase of lunch and dinner. (B,L,D)

There is also the Stars Performance Program option available at Universal.  This is the chance for your students to perform to crowds of  Universal visitors from one of the several stage locations in and around Universal Studios or the covered Plaza Stage in the Universal CityWalk entertainment complex.

Day 3 – Universal Studios Park-to-Park Pass – Behind the Adventure Tour

Today is another day to enjoy Universal Studios. Start the day with a Behind the Adventure Tour.  Take a closer look at some of Universal Islands of Adventure’s rides and attractions on this technology focused tour. Students will have an opportunity to peek behind-the-scenes of Universal Islands of Adventure. From storytelling to innovation, students will gain a new perspective of the creativity and design that go into developing one of the world’s most popular theme parks.

The afternoon will be yours to visit the Universal Studios Park of your choice with your Park-to-Park Pass.  A meal card will be included for lunch today.

Dinner will be included this evening at a local restaurant.  (B,L,D)

Day 4 – Kennedy Space Center w/ATX Training w/lunch – Airboat Ride – Ron’s Surf Shop – Cocoa Beach w/Dinner

Today, head to Florida’s Space Coast.  Start with a visit to the Kennedy Space Center and see what’s it’s like to be an astronaut. The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex has many must see attractions, from space-flown artifacts to behind-the-gates tours. This is your chance to tour – up close – NASA’s launch and landing facilities, experience interactive simulators, enjoy live shows and have jaw-dropping encounters with massive rockets.  Your Kennedy Space Center admission includes IMAX® space films, all exhibits and shows, the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour and the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame.

Students can also start their own mission to Mars! All Astronaut Training Experience (ATX)^® Training Stages are perfect for students looking to kick off their space exploration training during their visit without doing the full ATX program. Choose from three and navigate the Martian surface by rover or foot, or experience microgravity simulation only inside the Astronaut Training Experience Center – Exploring with Lockheed Martin.

A lunch voucher will be included today with your visit to the Kennedy Space Center.

The afternoon will feature an Airboat Ride, an exciting and educational ride with the chance to see the real Florida! Slide across the legendary St. Johns River where you will have the opportunity to see wild alligators, various types of birds, and other wildlife from elevated seating.  Your Captain will share his knowledge of the Florida outback through voice-activated headsets.

Next, head to Cocoa Beach known as the Last Stop Before Space.  Cocoa Beach is where astronauts and their families enjoy their time before launching to the stars. Stroll down the Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier like Alan Shepard, and head to his park located behind Ron Jon Surf Shop, to enjoy the sun, sand and surf.  A stop will be made at Ron John’s Surf Shop for everything you need to have fun in the sun!

Tonight, enjoy free time at Cocoa Beach for swimming, beach games and a BBQ Dinner on the beach before returning to your Orlando hotel. (B,L,D)

Day 5 – Depart

After breakfast, depart for home. (B)
