Day 2 – Historic RCA Studio B w/ Recording Session – Country Music Hall of Fame –Lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe – Ryman Auditorium – Performance Option – Dinner at Backstage Grill – Grand Ole Opry

Hear the stories behind the legendary recordings and view some of the original instruments used in producing over 1,000 hit records on this private guided tour. Then, you work with your own Studio engineer for a private recording session of your own.
Next it’s off to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum to complete the tour experience. The Country Music Hall of Fame is the keeper of priceless Country Music Treasures. Walk through the museum and discover the history, from the earliest folk traditions to the music that thrills millions of fans today. Every tour ends in the Hall of Fame Rotunda, the never-ending circle, and storied home of the inductees.
Following your tour, enjoy lunch at the Hard Rock Café, where your group will hear the song they recorded at Studio B played for the first time.
The afternoon features a Guided Tour of the Ryman Auditorium, the “Mother Church of Country Music.” From 1943 to 1974 the Ryman was the home of The Grand Ole Opry. Learn the history of this famous building. If they don’t have a show at The Ryman that day, you will be able to go backstage for a brief look into how the Stars get ready before they perform.
After that there is time to add an optional performance opportunity for your group to perform at the Ryman (if available). Nashville also offers plenty of other venues where students can perform, including Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, Belle Meade Historic Site, Cheekwood Estate, Country Music Hall of Fame, Madame Tussauds, National Museum of African American Music, or Opry Mills.
Dinner is included this evening at the Opry Backstage Grill. Enjoy Southern Cooking paired perfectly with Live Country Music. Here your love of food and your love of music will meet in a casually cool restaurant. And at the Opry Backstage Grill, your waitress might even jump on the stage and sing a country favorite or two.
End the day with the Grand Ole Opry. For more than 100 years, country’s best have mesmerized audiences at the Grand Ole Opry Live Radio Show, the show that made country music famous. Each Opry show features an array of performances by new stars, superstars and legends of country music as well as great bluegrass, comedy and more. Opry shows are never rehearsed and never the same show twice. (B,L,D)

This morning, visit Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage and step inside the world of Rachel & Andrew Jackson, the 7th President to the United States. Since opening in 1889, The Hermitage has welcomed over 15 million people. Fiery and daring, Andrew Jackson was Tennessee’s first homegrown president, born to Irish immigrants. He was nicknamed “Old Hickory” for his rough and tough behavior. The Hermitage was the home of “the people’s president,” Andrew Jackson – orphan, general, president, and legend. The Hermitage features the former president’s mansion, picturesque garden and grounds, and his tomb. The property now referred to as The Hermitage, originally just a 425-acre farm, was purchased by Jackson in 1804.

You can dance, sing, and take a selfie with yesterday’s music legends and today’s Top 40’s icons.
