Itinerary
Day 1 – Cleveland, OH – House of Blues Dinner
Arrive today in Cleveland, OH. Check into your Downtown hotel for a three-night stay. Dinner is included tonight at the House of Blues, the home of live music, folk art and Southern-inspired food. (D)
Day 2 – Great Lakes Science Center – Lunch at The Corner Alley – Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (Program or Performance Option) – Dinner & Live Music
This morning, visit the Great Lakes Science Center. Blast into space inside the Skylab 3 Apollo Command Module with the “Mission to STEM” app at the NASA Glenn Visitor Center. Engage in interactive fun like light sculpting and augmented-reality sandboxes.
Learn about Cleveland’s maritime history (the restored William G. Mather steamship), space exploration (the NASA Glenn Visitor Center), medicine (BioMedTech Gallery) and cool scientific concepts, like what 350,000 volts of static electricity does to your hair (Science Phenomena). The Science Center, whose motto is “stay curious,” also features an array of hands-on exhibits, traveling installations and a series of what it calls “out of the ordinary exhibits” that include introductions to nanotechnology, solar harnessing and wind power.
Next, enjoy lunch at The Corner Alley, the ultimate entertainment destination. With state-of-the-art bowling, arcade games, delicious meals, and a modern atmosphere loaded with fun and energy.
The afternoon features visit to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. The 150,000 square-foot museum features seven floors, five theaters for films, special events and free public programs and ever-changing exhibits.
With a permanent collection drawing from the most impressive and iconic rock and roll artifacts and a wide-ranging roster of on-going and temporary exhibits. The museum is dedicated to exploring the past, present and future of music and the cultural context from which it emerges.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame also offers Educational Programs for students. With offerings spanning K-12, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s “Rockin’ the Schools” programs put a fun spin on music education with classes such as “The Birth of Hip-Hop Culture” and “Shake, Rattle and Roll: The Building Blocks of Music.” Student Performances can also be set up at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for groups.
Tonight, enjoy dinner and live music at the Music Box Supper Club. Enjoy an intimate live performance from homegrown Cleveland talent, who will be covering a music legend’s most beloved songs— while enjoying a meal and the Music Box Supper Club’s gorgeous riverfront views. If there is not a live concert already scheduled this evening, you have the option of choosing your artist. Live Tribute Options include Paul Simon, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, Dave Matthews Band, Elton John, Frank Sinatra, U2 and Bruce Springsteen. (B,L,D)
Day 3 – Cedar Point Amusement Park w/lunch (Performance Option) – Dinner at Dave & Buster’s
After breakfast, head to nearby Cedar Point Amusement Park. Cedar Point specializes in giving young people a mind-building, mind-blowing escape from the normal day-to-day. Their educational programs and performance opportunities are creative, fun, and insightful. The rides and coasters deliver the thrills that bring everyone together and the memories students won’t soon forget. These educational programs cover everything from physics, science, engineering and more. All are offered in an outdoor classroom filled with amazing food and thrilling rides. A meal voucher for lunch will be included with your visit to the park.
Another option is the Performance in the Park program which offers your talented students the chance to showcase their skills in a thrilling atmosphere, surrounded by thousands of eager spectators.
Returning to Cleveland for the evening, dinner and games are included at Dave & Buster’s. Enjoy a buffet dinner and a power card with unlimited game play. (B,L,D)
Day 4 – Depart for Home
After breakfast, depart for home. A stop for lunch on your own will be made enroute. (B)
